Olean Youth & Rec Craft Show

Olean Rec Center’s annual Arts and Craft Show was hosted on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 at:

There were 109 vendors who signed up this year, officials said, with 15 to set up outside and five food vendors providing lunch and snacks. The show’s timing gives shoppers a chance to pick up a Mother’s Day gift, which is the following weekend.

Thanks to vendors’ fees, thousands of dollars have been raised to aid programs. Funds raised at the 2023 show funded a swing in War Vets Park that accommodates an adult and child so the two can swing together in one unit.

Other purchases over the years include roller and ice skates and skating-related equipment, and a pool table for the city’s youth center in the former St. John’s School.
